George Toney
V.P. Manufacturing
George joined the Hi-Tech Team in October of 2011 as V.P. Manufacturing bringing over 35 years of experience in Quality, Engineering & Manufacturing. George retired from IBM Charlotte after 30 years of service as Staff Procurement Engineer. He and his wife LuAna reside in the Raleigh area. In his spare time he enjoys fishing, home projects & spending time with his family.

Paul Robertson
Manufacturing Manager
Paul joined the Hi-Tech team in April, 2006 as Manufacturing Manager. His background in Manufacturing Management was developed from eighteen years experience in several unique industries. He started his career in Textiles, with Fieldcrest Cannon, as a Department Manager. He then moved into the Wire and Cable Industry, with Times Fiber Communications, as a Plant Manager. He is a 1991 graduate of Auburn University, with a BS Business Administration / Industrial Operations Management degree.

Ralph Sandle, Jr.
Manufacturing Engineering Manager
Ralph has been with Hi-Tech since July 2009. He has over 40 years of experience in all aspects of the metal fabrication industry. His primary focus over the past 15 years has been with Lean Principles and their application in all segments of sheet metal, machining and mechanical/electro-mechanical assembly processes. In parallel Ralph has supported similar principles as related to Strategic Marketing and Planning. Ralph enjoys automobiles, NASCAR and NHRA racing and spending time with his family.

Scott Blackley
Engineering Manager
Scott brought five years of experience when he came to Hi-Tech in November, 1984. Scott has worked as Plant Supervisor, Inside Sales Manager / Estimator, Quality Assurance Manager, and currently he is our Engineering Manager. Scott lives in Raleigh with his wife Deborah and two sons. His interest includes cooking, sports, and music.

Doug Nelson-Dibble
Senior Buyer
Doug joined the Hi-Tech team in December, 2006 and is our Purchasing Manager. Doug obtained a Business Administration degree from the University of Minnesota. He is also a Vietnam Veteran. He has spent over 30 years in the Purchasing field primarily around the mechanical end. Of his 18 years spent at Nortel, the last 7 were spent at the Creedmoor facility as the Frame and Main Metal Fabrication Department. Doug likes to strap on a tool belt in his spare time and will attack any home improvement project.

Mike Wood
Master Scheduler / Planner
Mike joined the Hi-Tech team in April of 2008 and brought with him over 16 years of experience in Precision Sheet Metal Fabrication. He has successfully held the positions of Program Manager, Sr. Production Planner, Sr. Process Engineer and Product Estimator during his tenure at his previous employer, Flextronics. As the Production Planner / Scheduler at Hi-Tech, he is responsible for the production schedule, maintaining low inventory levels, and managing stocking programs for customers. He and his wife, Karen, have 3 children and live in the Four Oaks area. His interests include surf fishing and boating with the family.

Mikki Glaeser
Buyer
Mikki grew up in Pennsylvania and joined the Navy after high school. She met her husband in the Navy in Maryland and moved to NC in 1992. She began working at Hi-Tech in August of 1992. She started out working in the Tool Room then moved to Production Control. In 1999 she moved into Purchasing while assisting in Production Control and acting as the Receptionist. She is very active in church activities and enjoys going on missions trips, bowling, to the zoo, and spending time with her husband and their three cats.
